Website Accessibility Monitoring

Overview

If we have assisted in your website accessibility remediation but we did not build/do not take care of your website, this applies to you!

Some organizations are legally obligated to have an accessible website and ongoing monitoring is crucial to meeting that obligation, others are not legally obligated but their brand promotes inclusivity, and the website is proof of those values: on a website with changing content and/or multiple editors things can get missed or go unchecked, even with training; furthermore, accessibility guidelines change over time and it’s important to keep up and continue protecting your website — arguably your most influential brand asset!

How can you ensure your website will keep the high standards you have invested in?  And serve the greatest number of people possible?

How can you avoid the dreaded knock—knock of an inaccessibility lawsuit?

With regular monitoring we’ll help you keep your website a human–friendly (and lawyer–unfriendly) place to be.

The Legal Bit

We endeavor to maintain accessible products, but laws governing web accessibility are numerous and the regulatory environment is changing rapidly. The accessibility of any Site or Deliverable will be measured against WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). Due to the rapidly changing legal landscape, Simply Accessible Websites LLC can not guarantee that conforming with WCAG equates to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508, or any other applicable Laws.

Simply Accessible Websites cannot be held responsible for loss of data, exposure of information, nor for catastrophic hardware or software failures resulting from cyber-crime or natural disaster.
